Local Counsel---we are frequently asked to act as local counsel in cases in the City and County of St. Louis by attorneys who practice outside the metropolitan area and, in some cases, outside the State of Missouri. If you are an attorney handling a civil matter in the City or County of St. Louis and need the assistance of local counsel, feel free to give us a call. We help counsel from around the country with court appearances, jury selection, subpoena issuance, deposition assistance, and we'll even try your case, if that is what you require. Our attorneys will take as active as a role as you require. Our hourly rates are negotiable and determined on a case-by-case basis, and, in some cases, we are willing to share in a percentage of the contingent fee.

Trial Counsel---Some attorneys aren't comfortable in the courtroom. They get themselves involved in a case that they think they can resolve, but it turns out that they can't. They are faced with the task of trying their case. We at Bollwerk & Ryan try cases. We are willing to take cases from attorneys whose cases need to be tried to a judge or jury. If you are an attorney faced with a trial that you feel you cannot handle, give us a call. Your case will be carefully and promptly considered by us. Our hourly rates are reasonable, and, in some cases, we will consider contingent fee arrangements.

Appellate Counsel---Our attorneys have handled appeals in the US Court of Appeals-8th Circuit, The Missouri Court of Appeals, and the Illinois Court of Appeals, and we have also handled Workers' Compensation appeals before the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission.
